Re-form 

 

There’s a lot to be said 

about the unspoken; 

 

It’s always been

One Step Behind, 

another Wrong Turn taken. 

The paths that led to beginnings 

only ever reached an End.  

 

Another day passes.

Another rotation is made

around the unchanging events that make up a lifetime. 

A constant reminder 

of the things that never fully developed. 

 

There’s a lot to be said 

about the unchanging. 

 

But things take time. 

Priorities accumulate,

and some things just no longer take precedence, 

but there’s no merit in waiting

for a Call to Action.  

 

Assumptions are irrelevant: 

things can never progress if nothing changes. 

 

Each day will pass, 

Each memory will come soon, 

so the most of each moment should be made, 

with help

and wholehearted expression. 

 

I was blind to its value 

and it showed.
