Butterfly Effect

As the dainty butterfly flaps its delicate wings, 

It alters the path of everything, including hurricanes. 

Time picks up its pace, and the wind begins to ripple

Without a moment's notice, life changes by a little. 

 

And while the word, ‘change’ is one that we desperately try to ignore, 

We fail to realize the true beauty of things that change can restore. 

 

Blue skies appear after a hectic, rainy storm. 

The once broken heart mends into one.

And most importantly, just like a butterfly who’s 

going through metamorphosis, you eagerly grow. 

 

In this world, every movement and moment matters, 

Despite how small the event may be.

Even if you make an abundance of poor choices, 

They may lead to some of the best days of your life

 

Change is inevitable, so why ignore it? 

Why not cease to exist?

You can’t have a clear sky without a rainy storm. 

You can’t have a breeze without causing a hurricane. 

Why not choose to face it all?
